Great Product, Worth the Money
I've had this monitor for 3 weeks now and I love it! The privacy this digital version offers as well as the peace of mind of being able to see your baby is worth the extra money. It has saved me many unnecessary trips to the nursery. The picture is not hi def by any means, but it is detailed enough that I can see if his eyes are opened or closed. It is more than sufficient to serve the purpose that it does...to make sure your baby is safe.
I had heard several reviews from people that complained of interference from wireless networks and other devices, but I have not had a single problem. We have a wireless network cell phones, and a cordless phone that is 2.4 ghz just like the monitor.
The calming sounds attachment is ok. I mostly use the light and the music on it. The vibration feature is more noise than anything (and pretty noisy at that). You can't really feel in in the mattress where the baby is actually sleeping. But I didn't really buy this for the attachment anyway.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish the screen were a little bigger like another of the Summer Infant models.
